Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Coxall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakbar Shamuli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Coxall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakbar Shamuli!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coxall is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Shamuli takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Coxall throws a leg kick which misses Shamuli's front leg but catches the back leg as Shamuli tries to avoid it.
Shamuli tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coxall swivels and escapes.
Shamuli's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coxall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shamuli scrambles back to his feet.
Shamuli takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Shamuli is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coxall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shamuli fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coxall avoids it really well and circles away.
Alex Coxall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hakbar Shamuli.
Shamuli shoots in looking for a takedown. Coxall tries to sprawl out of it but Shamuli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coxall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Coxall leaves Shamuli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Shamuli shoots in but no luck this time.
As Shamuli backs away, Coxall returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Shamuli fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shamuli dives in for a single leg takedown but Coxall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Shamuli looks winded!
Coxall explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shamuli takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Shamuli shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Coxall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coxall lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Alex Coxall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coxall connects with a high kick.


Shamuli is rocked!
A slapping body kick lands there for Coxall.
Coxall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shamuli. That did some damage!
Nice takedown defense from Coxall. No joy for Shamuli on that attempt.

Coxall lands a left and a right that send Shamuli crashing to the mat, dazed. Coxall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shamuli is still on wobbly legs! Can Coxall finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coxall lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice inside leg kick there by Coxall. That's going to slow Shamuli down.
A good leg kick by Coxall.
Coxall thuds a left hand into Shamuli's body.
Look low, kick high! Coxall uses the oldest trick in the book to send Shamuli tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Coxall is absolutely delighted - when Shamuli wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Alex Coxall!
In defeat, Hakbar Shamuli stepped up to the mic, saying 'Needa Practice More'.
