Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Artur Maczuga!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maczuga dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Maczuga throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Anderson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Maczuga!
Maczuga tries to escape but Anderson is in control.
Maczuga is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maczuga trying to remain calm as Anderson controls from the top position.
Anderson trying to control the action but Maczuga is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Maczuga wants to get back to his feet but Anderson drags him back down.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maczuga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Maczuga swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson.

Anderson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Anderson can't find room to land a body shot as Maczuga controls the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Maczuga manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Anderson moves into the clinch.
Anderson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Anderson.
Anderson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Maczuga blocks an uppercut.
Anderson can't get the takedown.

Maczuga cracks Anderson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maczuga has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Anderson to stand back up!


It looks like George Anderson has been cut.
Maczuga throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Maczuga cracks Anderson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Anderson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maczuga finish him?


Anderson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maczuga throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.
Anderson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Maczuga.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Maczuga circles away.

Maczuga closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Anderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Anderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Maczuga manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Anderson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
A body shot lands from Maczuga.
Anderson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Maczuga tries to break free but Anderson pushes him back against the cage.

Maczuga avoids the elbow strike from Anderson, against the cage.
Maczuga is trying to break the clinch but Anderson is controlling him.
Anderson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Maczuga's elbow.
Anderson is looking to control Maczuga's arms but Maczuga gets an underhook and turns him. Now Anderson has his back to the cage.
Maczuga wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Maczuga lands an uppercut.
Anderson tries to throw a body punch but Maczuga avoids it by throwing Anderson back against the cage.
Maczuga is trying to push Anderson away but Anderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maczuga is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
