Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dorsey Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kline counters with a series of strikes. Silva will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Kline counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kline had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily.
Silva wants to control from the top but Kline keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Silva throws a series of punches but Kline moves out of range.
Kline throws a big counter combination but Silva scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Silva has hold of Kline's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kline manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kline has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Kline's legs - danger averted.

Kline gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Silva regains guard.
