Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ron Holley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jedrej Kozlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Meat grinder - Sizzling grease. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holley throws a jab but it's blocked by Kozlow.
Holley fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kozlow checks it well.
A little jabbing left from Kozlow on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Holley looks to throw the jab but Kozlow is out of range.
Kozlow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kozlow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Holley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kozlow lands with a shot to the body.
Holley connects with a leg kick. Kozlow looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kozlow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Holley is out of range and Kozlow settles back down.
Holley wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Kozlow misses with a wild body shot.
Holley throws a big shot that misses.
Holley gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kozlow.
Holley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kozlow.
Kozlow lands with a cross.
Kozlow lands a lovely overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kozlow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kozlow cracks Holley with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Holley is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Holley is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Holley could not beat the count!
