Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karri Koira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Eminem - Berzerk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karri Koira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Miller!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Miller misses the target.
Miller has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Koira.
Miller throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Koira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Miller lands a jab to the head.
Miller tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller throws a big shot that misses.
Koira is looking to counter punch.
Miller connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Koira momentarily.
Miller on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Miller cracks Koira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Miller lands with a right hand.
Koira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Miller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Koira swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller cracks Koira with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Koira wants to land a leg kick but Miller is out of range.
Miller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koira checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Koira connects with a looping right hand.
Miller moves away from the strike by Koira.
A big left from Koira misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Miller.
Koira bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Koira moves out of range easily.
Koira blocks a jab.
Miller throws a head kick but Koira moves out of range.
Miller misses with a looping right.
Miller looks to land a left hand but Koira moved out of range nicely.

A nice combination there by Koira.
The fighters circling - Miller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Koira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miller misses with a low kick as Koira jumps back.
Koira was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Miller throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Koira to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Karri Koira has been cut.
Miller throws a nice head kick!
Miller scores with a sloppy right hand. Koira should have avoided that one.
Koira uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Miller.
Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koira loads up on a big right hand but Miller slips the punch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A little feinted left hand from Koira on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Miller wants to land a leg kick but Koira is out of range.
Miller misses with a lunging right hand
and Koira counters with a series of strikes. Miller will be more careful next time no doubt.
Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Koira lands with an overhand left.
Bradley Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koira blocks a head kick by Miller.
Miller misses with a looping left.
Koira keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miller looks to land a left hand but Koira moved out of range nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Koira does a little dance to reset his feet.
Koira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miller on the side of the head.

Miller rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Koira counters with a straight right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miller uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Koira.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bradley Miller seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Koira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller loads up on a big right hand but Koira slips the punch.
Miller looks to land a combination. Koira sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Miller shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Koira cracks Miller with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Koira moves out of range of the strikes.
Miller scores with a jab to the body.
Koira looks to land a left hand but Miller moved out of range nicely.

Miller lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Koira has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Koira was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Koira tries to land a leg kick but Miller saw it coming and moves away.
Miller wants to counter with a clinch but Koira pushes him away.
Miller scores with a jab to the head.
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Koira swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Koira misses with a looping left.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Koira might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

and Koira counters with a stiff right hand.
Koira avoids the head kick by Miller.

Miller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Miller jabs Koira right on the nose. Koira blinks but takes it well.
