Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urskilz misses with a straight right.
Urskilz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jackson only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Urskilz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Urskilz, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Urskilz against the cage but Urskilz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Urskilz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Urskilz controlling him for the moment.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Urskilz throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Urskilz but Urskilz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Urskilz can pounce on him.

Urskilz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jackson tries to clinch there but Urskilz circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Urskilz has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Urskilz lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jackson.

Urskilz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jackson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Urskilz - the referee stops the clock and Jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Urskilz. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Urskilz throws a low kick, looking for Jackson's leg but Jackson calmly moves out of range.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Urskilz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Urskilz tried to counter with a leg kick but Jackson avoided it.

It looked like Urskilz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jackson.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Urskilz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A nice side step and Jackson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Donnie Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackson dives in and grabs Urskilz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Urskilz pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
Urskilz fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jackson just manages to avoid it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Urskilz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Urskilz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jackson.
Urskilz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jackson throws a combination. Urskilz tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Urskilz defends it nicely.
Urskilz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Urskilz misses with a shot to the body
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ilafat Urskilz.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Urskilz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
