Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Gaarlandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Larusso's choice of entrance music: Glory of love. Daniel Larusso has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jesus Gaarlandt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesus Gaarlandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Larusso!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaarlandt misses with a combination
and Larusso counters with an inside leg kick.
Gaarlandt misses with a few strikes there.
Larusso thinks about the counter body kick.
Larusso throws a push kick but Gaarlandt slaps the foot to one side.
Larusso throws a body kick that misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gaarlandt crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Larusso - the referee stops the clock and Gaarlandt gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Larusso. Gaarlandt manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Larusso throws a quick inside leg kick.
Larusso is looking to land body kicks.
Larusso ducks right into an uppercut from Gaarlandt.
Gaarlandt scores with a jab. Larusso acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gaarlandt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gaarlandt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Larusso tries to move into range but Gaarlandt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gaarlandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Larusso is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A decent looking cross lands there for Larusso.
Gaarlandt throws a half hearted mid kick.
Larusso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaarlandt connects with the punch.
Larusso is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gaarlandt.
Gaarlandt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gaarlandt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gaarlandt scores with a head kick. Larusso tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Gaarlandt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Larusso lands a jab to the nose.
Larusso scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Larusso fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gaarlandt.
Larusso misses with a combination
and Gaarlandt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Larusso throws a head kick that misses
and Gaarlandt counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Larusso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gaarlandt manages to avoid it.
Larusso looks to throw a body kick
and Gaarlandt counters with a single leg into guard. Larusso didn't expect that.
Gaarlandt advances to half guard.
Gaarlandt is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Larusso is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jesus Gaarlandt!
