Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksymilian Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Trinity - Annibale E I Cantori Moderni. A fine choice. Long is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The might of The Heart. George Long is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Maksymilian Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Long!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long is looking to clinch.
Gracie was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Long is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie content to control rather than advance.
Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Long for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Long moves to clinch but Gracie breaks away
and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Long is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Long is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position!
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Long is sitting in close to Gracie's body. Gracie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Long is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Long is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gracie.
