Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poporov throws a sloppy head kick and Lloyd moves out of range easily.

Poporov closes the distance and clinches.
Lloyd is looking for a takedown.
Poporov is trying to pull guard but Lloyd turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lloyd manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Poporov wants to control from the top but Lloyd keeps moving.

Poporov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lloyd is keeping the position for now.
Lloyd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lloyd is working an open guard so Poporov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Poporov shoots in but no luck this time.
Lloyd went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Poporov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lloyd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Poporov is looking to stand up but Lloyd won't let him.

Lloyd looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Poporov is defending well. Lloyd quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Poporov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lloyd celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
