Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vapun Aukio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Sebei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aukio comes to the cage accompanied by 2CELLOS (Sulic & Hauser) - Smooth Criminal. Sebei is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Bouncing Souls - Ole. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aukio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Some wild striking there from Aukio.
Sebei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Aukio listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sebei darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Aukio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sebei sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sebei misses with a double jab.
Sebei uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aukio.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sebei will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Sebei tries to get set, Aukio tries to push him back and clinch up but Sebei manages to avoid the attempt.

It looked like Aukio wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Sebei counters with a straight right hand.
Sebei connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sebei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aukio is rocked!
Aukio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sebei sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sebei ducks under a wild hook from Aukio.
Aukio jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Aukio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Aukio pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sebei is defended easily by Aukio.
Sebei changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aukio tries to avoid it but Sebei manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aukio to the ground. Aukio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Danga de danga de dang - Sebei scores with a four punch combination!
Sebei paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Sebei fails with the takedown.
Vapun Aukio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rami Sebei.
Sebei dives in and grabs Aukio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aukio pushes down on Sebei's head and hops out.
Sebei swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Aukio uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sebei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aukio.
Sebei throws out a counter right but Aukio avoids it with no problem.
Sebei lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Aukio backs up against the cage.

Aukio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sebei was well out of range. Poor timing from Aukio.
Sebei tries to land a leg kick but Aukio saw it coming and moves away.
Aukio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sebei cracks Aukio with a good jab.

and Sebei counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sebei feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aukios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Aukio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sebei.

and Sebei counters with a single leg into guard. Aukio didn't expect that.
Aukio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sebei drops back looking for a leg! Aukio is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aukio manages to kick Sebei off! Sebei jumps back into Aukio's guard.
Sebei works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rami Sebei dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Aukio looks to score with a jab to the body but Sebei is just out of range.
Sebei moves out of range as Aukio strikes.
Sebei might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A very excited looking Vapun Aukio rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
