PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikky Milky Way (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry has a takedown stuffed.
Henry avoids the body shot from Milky Way.
Henry tries to counter with a clinch but Milky Way shakes him off and moves away.
Milky Way tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Milky Way has closed the distance and engaged Henry in a clinch.
Milky Way could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Henry has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Milky Way uses from the top position.
Henry wants to sweep here but Milky Way controlling him for the moment.

Milky Way passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henry tries to bench press Milky Way off him but Milky Way keeps the position.
Milky Way definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Milky Way is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Henry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Henry tries to buck Milky Way off but Milky Way is having none of it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Henry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Milky Way wants to work for an arm triangle but Henry is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Milky Way wants to control but Henry is keeping him busy.
Henry throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Milky Way is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Henry is just riding it out for now. Milky Way eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Milky Way is working for a submission of some sort.
Milky Way seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Milky Way pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Milky Way rushes Henry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Milky Way jumps guard but Henry turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Milky Way prevents the takedown attempt.
Milky Way tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Henry just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've been informed that Henry has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Milky Way is trying to force a seperation but Henry has the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Milky Way wants to pass the guard but Henry is keeping the position.

Henry is looking to improve his position.
Henry gets full guard.

Milky Way misses with a low kick.
Henry keeps the fight on the outside.
Milky Way swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Henry swats away the attempt to clinch by Milky Way.
Milky Way throws a leg kick

and Henry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Henry.
Milky Way is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Henry can do to turn this around?

Henry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Henry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Milky Way is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Milky Way is posturing up here but Henry has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Milky Way tries to roll out but it's too tight and Milky Way has to tap! Slick submission there by Henry!
