Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Dinozzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dinozzo comes to the cage accompanied by Dinozzo the Womanizer. Tanishk Soni will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinozzo misses with a takedown attempt - Soni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Soni paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dinozzo shoots in for a double leg but Soni sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Soni was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Soni shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dinozzo as he jumps to the side.
Dinozzo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Dinozzo goes for a double leg but Soni avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Soni continues to drive forward.

Soni moves into the clinch.

Soni tries to close the distance and clinch but Dinozzo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Soni shoots for a double leg takedown but Dinozzo sprawls well. He's pushed Soni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Soni throws a leg kick which misses Dinozzo's front leg but catches the back leg as Dinozzo tries to avoid it.

Tanishk Soni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dinozzo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
