Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Weston Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Hamilton.

It looks like Weston Grant has been cut.
Hamilton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Hamilton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Grant on his heels. He'll look to pass Grant's guard now, I'm sure.
Grant is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Hamilton is looking to stand up but Grant won't let him.
Grant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Grant has hold of one of Hamilton's legs. Hamilton is fighting the takedown attempt but Grant gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Grant gets to his feet. Hamilton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Grant closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hamilton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Grant postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hamilton to stand up.

Hamilton rushes Grant and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Grant is struggling to control the position.
Grant tries to score a body lock takedown but Hamilton shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Hamilton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hamilton leaves Grant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Grant backing away here, and Hamilton unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hamilton. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Grant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hamilton throws a low kick but it's checked well by Grant.

Hamilton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hamilton wants it to stay on the feet.
Hamilton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Hamilton clinches up with Grant and pushes him back against the cage.
Grant is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Grant is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hamilton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Grant is trying to push Hamilton away but Hamilton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Grant takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hamilton is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Hamilton throws a front kick aimed at Grant's knee but Grant avoids it well.
Grant is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Chris Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hamilton throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Grant colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hamilton as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Grant is left battered and dazed whilst Hamilton and his camp cheer!
