Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Berry Bray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Berry Bray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Brophy!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bray clinches.
Brophy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Bray seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Bray gets control of Brophy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bray will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bray holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bray pulls Brophy in to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Brophy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bray is defending against the submission attempts here by Brophy.

The fighters are battling for position here. Bray manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bray pulls Brophy in close to prevent any damage.

Brophy has his foot on Bray's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bray works his way back into a safe position though.
Bray will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brophy on the ground.

Bray stands up over Brophy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brophy is on top in guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Brophy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bray knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Brophy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bray is positioning himself well to prevent Brophy advancing to mount.
Brophy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Bray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brophy pulls his head out easily.
Brophy is pressing down on Bray's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bray is holding on for now.

Brophy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bray makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Brophy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bray defends well.

Bray throws a big right hand that misses.
Bray working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Brophy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bray manages to get himself to full guard.

Brophy wants to pass the guard but Bray is keeping the position.
Bray has Brophy pulled in close to control his posture.
Brophy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bray swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bray is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brophy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bray's guard.

Brophy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bray has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bray gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bray can't keep his opponent in guard - Brophy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bray wants to control but Brophy is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conor Brophy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Brophy has hold of Bray's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bray seems comfortable defending it but Brophy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bray is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bray is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Brophy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
