Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cão de Briga. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Souza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jarvis, who protects the arm well.
Jarvis wants to get back to his feet.
Jarvis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jarvis tries to bench press Souza off him but Souza keeps the position.
Jarvis can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jarvis has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Souza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jarvis has tightened it up now! Souza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
