Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Major Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Green will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Major Carlson has been cut.
Green with a nice cross.
Green swings away with a body shot that misses

so Carlson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Carlson drops back looking for a leg! Green is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Green manages to kick Carlson off! Carlson jumps back into Green's guard.
Carlson really is a fat lump.

Carlson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Carlson landing some decent shots from guard.

Green throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Carlson escapes and throws Green's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Carlson decides to stand back up.

Green sends Carlson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Green is motioning to the referee to let Carlson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Carlson is rocked!
Green is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Carlson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Carlson is out cold! Green holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
