Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitar Miric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Adamek might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Am The Sword - Motorhead . Miric has chosen Mitar Miric - Ko je onaj mladic as his entrance music. Mitar Miric is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

With a record of 16 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitar Miric!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miric paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut.
Adamek tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Miric! But no joy.
Adamek shoots for a takedown but Miric saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Miric fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Adamek manages to avoid it.
Adamek takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Adamek uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miric.
Miric misses with a straight right.
Miric throws a body shot but no joy.
Adamek tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Miric manages to circle out of the way.

Miric manages to work his way to half guard, despite Adamek's best efforts.

Adamek is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Adamek tries to pass to full mount but Miric defends it.
Miric felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Adamek is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Miric preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Adamek prevents Miric from improving his position.
Miric holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Miric is looking to control Adamek's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Miric avoid being mounted?
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Adamek wants to work for an arm triangle but Miric is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Adamek is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Adamek shoots in and drives through. Miric sprawls well.

Adamek displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Miric throws out the jab.
Adamek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miric tries to avoid it but Adamek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miric to the ground. Miric escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Miric misses.

Adamek drops down looking for a counter takedown but Miric sprawls and moves away.

Miric throws out a loose jab but Adamek uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miric throws the left hand but Adamek avoids the punch easily.
Adamek darts in looking for a takedown but Miric gets double underhooks and turns Adamek into the cage.
Miric cracks a nice hook into Adamek's ribs.

Miric looks to throw the jab but Adamek is out of range.
Miric throws out a loose jab but Adamek uses good head movement to avoid it.
Adamek half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Adamek slips under a jab.
Miric misses with an uppercut.
Miric lunges at Adamek with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Adamek's hand.
Adamek closes the distance and clinches up with Miric, looking for a takedown. Adamek pushes Miric against the cage but Miric circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Adamek slips a straight right by Miric.
Adamek tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Miric defends well and Adamek ends up having to push Miric into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adamek moves away from the strike by Miric.
Miric cracks Adamek with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Adamek falls to his knees and Miric doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
