Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eva Contonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eva Contonio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contonio tries a head kick but it misses.
Contonio fails to land with a series of punches.
Goodman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Goodman duly obliges.
The crowd cheers as Contonio lands an impressive looking overhand right. Goodman doesn't seem phased though.
Goodman misses with a double jab.

Contonio darts in and clinches Goodman up against the cage.
Contonio misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Contonio fails to land.
Goodman tries to pull guard but Contonio holds him up against the cage and eventually Goodman drops back down to his feet.
Contonio throws a head punch that misses.
Goodman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Contonio walks away with a smile on his face. Goodman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Goodman throws a jab when Contonio was well out of range.
Saul Goodman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Contonio.
Contonio thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Goodman if he has to take too many more of those.

A head kick misses from Contonio.
Goodman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Contonio.
Goodman misses with a double jab.
Goodman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Contonio avoids it really well and circles away.
Eva Contonio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Goodman.
Contonio scoring well with a low kick there.
Contonio tries to clinch there but Goodman circles away.
Contonio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Goodman.
It looked like Contonio was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Goodman.

and Goodman counters with a left and a right that stings Contonio.
Donk. Contonio catches Goodman right on the button with a cross.
Goodman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Contonio.
Contonio throws a push kick but Goodman slaps the foot to one side.
Goodman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Contonio tries to work over Goodman's front leg with a kick but Goodman checks it.
Goodman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Contonio avoids a punch combination nicely.
Contonio throws a counter high kick but Goodman was just alert enough to avoid it.
Goodman misses with a body shot.
Contonio misses with a body shot.
Goodman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Contonio misses with a two punch combination.
Goodman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Contonio.

Goodman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Contonio. Contonio circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Contonio connects with a jab.
Goodman looks to land a combination but Contonio avoids it well.
Contonio was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Contonio throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Danga de danga de dang - Contonio scores with a four punch combination!

Goodman is rocked!

Contonio rushes Goodman and presses him up against the cage.
Goodman is still on wobbly legs! Can Contonio finish him?
Contonio creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Goodman's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Goodman drops to his knees and Contonio pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
