Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Marcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Suggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcy comes into the arena with Archer's Cherlene - Danger Zone - Duet With Kenny Loggins blaring out of the sound system. DeAngelo Suggs has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lance Marcy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marcy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Suggs.

It looks like Lance Marcy has been cut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Suggs wants to control from the top but Marcy keeps moving.

Suggs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marcy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Suggs has managed to get both his arms back between Marcy's legs - danger averted.

It looked like Marcy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Suggs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marcy throws out the jab.
Suggs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marcy.
