Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mugsy Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Slapper!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slapper tries to clinch up.
Keller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Slapper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Keller has managed to clinch.
Keller lands a body shot in the clinch.
Keller digs a right hand into Slapper's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slapper's gas tank.
Keller tries a body shot but Slapper blocks it.

Keller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Keller lands a front kick.
Keller scores with a leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Keller.
Slapper is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Slapper walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Keller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dead North Bombers Club in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Keller defending well as Slapper loads up on a big left hand.
Keller buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Keller closes the distance and pushes Slapper back into the cage.
Keller lands a hook to the side of the head.
Keller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Slapper blocking some punches.
Slapper lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Keller working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Slapper misses with a punch to the body.
Keller pressing his opponent against the cage.
Slapper tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Keller avoids it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Slapper misses with a short punch on the inside.

Keller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A slapping leg kick lands for Keller.
Keller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd cheers as Keller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Slapper doesn't seem phased though.

Slapper instigates a clinch.
Keller gets through Slapper's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Keller.
Keller misses with a punch to the body.
Keller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Keller is looking to break free of the clinch but Slapper has double underhooks.
Nice body punch from Slapper - that landed with a thud.
Keller misses with a punch to the body.
Slapper blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Slapper's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slapper misses with a punch to the body.
Slapper tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Keller tries to circle away but Slapper has him pinned against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Slapper.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Keller misses with a punch to the body.
Slapper lands a left hand.
Keller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Slapper leaning his opponent against the cage.
Slapper tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Keller avoids it.
Keller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Keller avoiding damage as Slapper throws knees to the body.
Slapper looking to slow down the pace here.
Slapper lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Slapper prevents a body shot from Keller.
Keller lands a hook to the side of the head.
Slapper wants to stall.

Slapper lands with a right to the head.
Keller is trying to maintain a safe position but Slapper gets an underhook and turns Keller into the cage.
Keller avoiding damage as Slapper throws knees to the body.
Slapper misses with a punch to the body.
Keller scores with a shoulder strike.
Keller misses with some punches.
Keller lands a hook that snaps the head of Slapper backwards.
Keller tries to break the clinch but Slapper is controlling the position.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Keller as Slapper tries to tie him up.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A right hand to the body from Slapper.
Keller managing to block the knees to the body from Slapper.
Keller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Keller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Slapper up against the cage.
Keller is trying to stall.
Keller digs a right hand into Slapper's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slapper's gas tank.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A right handed body shot lands from Slapper.
Slapper blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Keller softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A short uppercut from Keller.
Keller lands a body punch in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Keller.
Keller tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Slapper lands a right hand.
Keller is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Keller blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Slapper lands a left hand that snaps the head of Keller backwards.
A short body shot lands from Slapper as the two fighters clinch.
Keller throws a head punch that misses.

Keller breaks the clinch.
Slapper with a jab.
Keller throws a combination that misses
and Slapper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slapper connects with a high kick.


Keller is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mugsy Keller dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Keller avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oh Keller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slapper cracks Keller with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Keller tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Slapper pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Keller is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Slapper!
Mugsy Keller was interviewed post fight and said 'Ya best protect ya neck!'.
