Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Porter Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson DeMarco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson DeMarco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Porter Vincent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackson DeMarco!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeMarco stuffs the takedown.
Vincent goes for a double leg but DeMarco avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as DeMarco continues to drive forward.
DeMarco tries to counter by closing the distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by DeMarco.

Vincent clinches.

DeMarco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vincent fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging DeMarco to the ground. Vincent is now in DeMarco's guard.
DeMarco tries to land a sweep but no joy.
DeMarco is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vincent throwing strikes but missing.
DeMarco wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Vincent is now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeMarco keeps control of the position for the meantime.
DeMarco taking some punishment here, with Vincent in his half guard.
DeMarco tries to roll over but Vincent keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DeMarco wants to control the action here but instead Vincent manages to pass to full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
DeMarco tries to reverse the position but Vincent maintains control.
Vincent lands with some vicious ground and pound - can DeMarco hang on?

Vincent has hold of DeMarco's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and DeMarco manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
DeMarco slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
DeMarco tries to kick Vincent off but Vincent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
DeMarco preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
It looks like Vincent is going to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vincent throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
DeMarco manages to get to full guard.

DeMarco has his foot on Vincent's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vincent works his way back into a safe position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

DeMarco wants to improve his position but instead Vincent has moved into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vincent connects with a nice short shot to DeMarco's temple.
Vincent stops DeMarco from getting back to his feet.

Vincent throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Vincent is sneakily working for an arm triangle but DeMarco sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
No luck for Vincent with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Porter Vincent dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Vincent shoots in looking for a takedown but DeMarco manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vincent's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
DeMarco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vincent manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Vincent misses with a takedown attempt - DeMarco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Porter Vincent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
DeMarco tries a head kick but it misses.

Vincent drives through with a takedown into DeMarco's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

DeMarco wriggles free and stands up.
Vincent shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
DeMarco is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
DeMarco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vincent manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
DeMarco scores with a three punch combo!
DeMarco lands a big head kick that sends Vincent to the canvas! DeMarco follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson DeMarco!
A less than humble Jackson DeMarco misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
