The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shogun rushes Yasumi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Yasumi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shogun doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Yasumi lands a body punch.
Our sources have told us that Shogun has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Yasumi gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Yasumi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Shogun pushes Yasumi off looking to stand but Yasumi dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yasumi wants to counter the offense by Shogun and move into the clinch position.
Yasumi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shogun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Yasumi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shogun gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yasumi jumps guard but Shogun stands there with Yasumi around his waist. Yasumi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Yasumi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Yasumi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shogun clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Shogun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yasumi on the ground.
Shogun is keeping busy.

Yasumi has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Shogun.
Yasumi is riding his opponent, not letting Shogun buck him off.
Yasumi scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Shogun is looking for a way out.
