The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munchkin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pegas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Munchkin is out of range.
Munchkin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Munchkin misses the target.
Munchkin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pegas parries the strikes from Munchkin easily there. Munchkin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pegas to escape.

Munchkin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pegas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fight stays on the outside here - Pegas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Munchkin looks to land a left hand but Pegas moved out of range nicely.
Pegas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pegas feints and then cracks Munchkin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Munchkin down.

Munchkin cracks Pegas with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pegas looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Munchkin finish him?

It looks like Jon Pegas has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Munchkin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pegas.
Pegas switches off momentarily and Munchkin cracks him with a monster right hand! Pegas topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Munchkin dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Munchkin!
