Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn comes into the arena with Boats & Hoes blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buster Quinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard Bear!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bear's waist but Bear gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quinn off to one side.
Bear connects with the punch.
Sloppy strikes from Quinn. Those never looked like landing.
Quinn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bear.
Bear slips under a jab.
Quinn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Buster Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bear on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Quinn seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Quinn looks to land a right hand but Bear moved out of range.
Quinn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jab, jab by Quinn - just one landing.
Quinn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bear throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Quinn on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bear checks a leg kick.
Bear lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bear scores with a hook.
Quinn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bear lands with an uppercut that bounces Quinn off the cage and back into range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice shot lands for Bear.
Bear lands a jab to the nose.


Quinn is rocked!
Crack! Bear connects with the perfect overhand right and Quinn falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Bear!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bernard Bear!
Our winner, Bernard Bear, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
