Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Smith prevents Yang from breaking the clinch.
Yang has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Yang slows down the pace here.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yang goes for a takedown in the clinch but Smith prevents it.
Smith tries to throw a body punch but Yang avoids it by throwing Smith back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yang is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Smith to keep the fight standing.

Smith struggles to land a body shot inside as Yang controls his hands.
Yang wants to get back to striking at distance but Smith won't allow it.
Smith throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Yangs head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Smith.
Yang is looking to break free of the clinch but Smith has double underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Smith scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Yang looking for a takedown.
Smith lands a right hand.
Yang is rocked!
It looks like Virgil Yang has been cut.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Smith.
Oh Yang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith lands a body shot in the clinch.

Smith cracks Yang with a left hook right on the temple and Yang goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Smith lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Yang is OK!
