The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il Sung jabs Moraes to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Moraes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Il Sung appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Moraes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Il Sung.
Il Sung connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Moraes tries to score a body lock takedown but Il Sung shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

I was talking to Moraes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Il Sung working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Moraes.

Rony Moraes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kim Il Sung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Il Sung has hold of Moraes's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Moraes seems comfortable defending it but Il Sung has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Moraes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Moraes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Il Sung couldn't care less - he's delighted!
