Gary Ridgway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Saming thuds his right hand into Ridgway's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Ridgway lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saming doesn't seem phased though.

A quick step to the side and Saming tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ridgway throws a lazy right hand but Saming sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ridgway tries to bum rush Saming with a series of wild strikes but Saming uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That has opened up Gary Ridgway's cut even more.
Ridgway has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ridgway throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Saming stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Saming is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Ridgway is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Saming.

Saming is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Saming tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ridgway was well out of range. Poor timing from Saming.

The cut above Gary Ridgway's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ridgway swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saming was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Saming lands a big right hand that sends Ridgway crashing to the mat! Saming stays standing though and waves Ridgway back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saming scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ridgway is still on wobbly legs! Can Saming finish him?

Saming lands an uppercut, right on the button! Ridgway tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

A relieved looking Sud Saming thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
