Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carroll kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Horse Outside. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Carroll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Ragnarson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carroll stuns Ragnarson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Carroll gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ragnarson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ragnarson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ragnarson connects with a nice short shot to Carroll's temple.

It looks like Gustav Ragnarson has been cut.
Carroll misses with a hook. Ragnarson ducked under it nicely.
Carroll displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ragnarson.

Ragnarson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carroll works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ragnarson lands a couple of digs.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ragnarson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Ragnarson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carroll napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ragnarson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Carroll works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Ragnarson lands a big elbow - Carroll is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Ragnarson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustav Ragnarson!
Our winner, Gustav Ragnarson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
