The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proctor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boycheck throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mitka Boycheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boycheck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Proctor circles away quickly and effectively.
Proctor now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Boycheck darts in and clinches Proctor up against the cage.

Proctor has Boycheck pushed against the cage.
Boycheck tries to score a body lock takedown but Proctor shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Proctor wants to stand but Boycheck has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Proctor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Boycheck! Proctor lets Boycheck back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Mitka Boycheck has been cut.

Boycheck shoots in looking for a takedown. Proctor tries to sprawl out of it but Boycheck keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Proctor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boycheck is defended easily by Proctor.
Boycheck doesn't manage to clinch there - Proctor circles away.
