Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atlas Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Woods looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Woods throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Woods gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Wilson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Woods is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wilson pulls his head out easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilson lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Woods.

Woods fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wilson sprawls well initially but Woods persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson is trying to get back to full guard.

Woods landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Woods is stalling here. Wilson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Woods seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wilson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wilson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wilson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wilson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Woods has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wilson but great work by Woods.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wilson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woods to the mat! Woods manages to get full guard.

Woods has his foot on Wilson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilson works his way back into a safe position though.

Woods is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Woods misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Woods counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Woods.
Wilson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Woods walks away with a smile on his face. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Woods isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wilson stacks Woods on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wilson!
You can see the frustration on Woods's face as Wilson controls the position.

Wilson looks up at the clock and then as Woods takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wilson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Woods wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wilson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Jerrell Woods has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Atlas Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Atlas Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Wilson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
