The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haji throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Floyd.

Floyd is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Haji's half guard.
Floyd wants to take a breather but Haji is having none of it.
Floyd wants to pass to mount but Haji is defending the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Floyd takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Haji is trying to stand up here but Floyd is controlling him well.

Haji really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Floyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Floyd tries to pass to full mount but Haji defends it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Haji leaves Floyd with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Floyd shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Floyd showed some decent athleticism there.
Haji pushes Floyd off looking to stand but Floyd dives back in and keeps control.

Haji is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Haji scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Floyd manages to mount him!

Haji defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Floyd.
Floyd sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Floyd wants to take Haji's back but he can't do it this time.
Haji is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Floyd throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Haji because Floyd loaded up on that one.
Haji is controlling an arm, preventing Floyd from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Floyd working for a guillotine from mount but Haji is in no mood to give up.
Floyd has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Haji is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Floyd swings around for an armbar but Haji sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Floyd's guard.

Floyd has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Haji doesn't defend quickly enough and Floyd has managed to lock this one up! Can Haji escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Floyd on a fantastic submission victory.
