The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day misses with a lunging right hand

and Von Li counters by clinching up.

Von Li changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Day fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Day connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lucky Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Von Li has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Day uses from the top position.
Day will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Day drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Von Li dives on top into guard.

Day has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Von Li should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Day has tightened it up now! Von Li should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
