The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tigh drops Michaels with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Michaels looks back up at him and smiles so Tigh waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Michaels is rocked!
It looks like Shawn Michaels has been cut.
Tigh throws a right and a left that Michaels avoids nicely.
Oh Michaels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tigh throws a lazy uppercut
and Michaels counters with a body kick that stops Tigh in his tracks momentarily.
Michaels seems to have got his legs back now.
Michaels bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A combination from Tigh does no damage.

Tigh tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Tigh throws a poor cross that misses
and Michaels counters with a nice body kick.
Tigh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Michaels counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tigh's knee momentarily.
Tigh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Michaels counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tigh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Michaels moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tigh cracks Michaels with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tigh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Michaels to stand back up!

Michaels throws a quick counter kick to the body but Tigh avoids it.
Tigh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Michaels moves away.
Michaels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Michaels thows a body kick. Tigh tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A nice leg kick lands there from Michaels.

Michaels has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tigh finds it's way round the side to connect with Michaels's head.
Tigh tries to bum rush Michaels with a series of wild strikes but Michaels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Michaels slips a straight right by Tigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Michaels dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Michaels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tigh throws out the jab.
Tigh sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Michaels defending well as Tigh loads up on a big left hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tigh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Michaels - the referee stops the clock and Tigh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Michaels. Tigh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Saul Tigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Michaels blocks a jab.
Tigh throws a combination that misses
and Michaels counters with an inside leg kick.
Michaels fakes the leg kick and cracks Tigh in the body.
Tigh throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Michaels counters with a low kick, right behind Tigh 's knee.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tigh swings widly with a right hand
and Michaels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Michaels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tigh throws out the jab.

Michaels uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tigh.
Tigh throws an off balance right hand
letting Michaels counter with a right hand.
Tigh lands a left and a right that send Michaels crashing to the mat, dazed. Tigh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Michaels switches off momentarily and Tigh cracks him with a monster right hand! Michaels topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Tigh dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Tigh!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saul Tigh!
Saul Tigh spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
