Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonothan Kuhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhula is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Native Drums from the South Pacific. Jake LaMotta could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tonothan Kuhula's chin.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula throws a series of punches but LaMotta moves out of range.
LaMotta misses with a few strikes there.

It looks like Tonothan Kuhula has been cut.
LaMotta slips a jab from Kuhula.
LaMotta swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tonothan Kuhula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kuhula throws a right and a left that LaMotta avoids nicely.
LaMotta connects with a solid leg kick.
LaMotta misses with the combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuhula, as that shot connected.
It looks like Jake LaMotta has been cut.
LaMotta throws a body punch but Kuhula moves out of range.
Kuhula is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by LaMotta.

This has been an exciting period of action!
LaMotta looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
LaMotta fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kuhula.

Kuhula slips under a jab from LaMotta.
LaMotta throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kuhula stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
LaMotta misses with a wild body shot.
LaMotta seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kuhula throws a series of punches but LaMotta avoids them all with ease.
Kuhula keeps the fight on the outside.
LaMotta scores with a push kick.
Kuhula throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and LaMotta counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kuhula thinking.

Kuhula misses the shot to the body.
LaMotta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
LaMotta tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuhula swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Kuhula on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
LaMotta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
LaMotta lands a jab to the nose.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kuhula drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
LaMotta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuhula throwing strikes but LaMotta manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LaMotta tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Kuhula tries to buck LaMotta off but LaMotta is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kuhula can do anything to dispel that myth.
LaMotta looking to control but instead Kuhula has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Kuhula avoiding damage under a succession of punches from LaMotta.
LaMotta seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kuhula does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

LaMotta takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kuhula is staying active underneath LaMotta, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kuhula wants to get back to his feet.
LaMotta sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kuhula defending well though.
Kuhula has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. LaMotta is working away from the top position though.
Kuhula kicks LaMotta off and gets back to his feet.
Kuhula throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kuhula misses with a few strikes there.
LaMotta changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
LaMotta connects with a right hand. Kuhula shakes it off.
Kuhula takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kuhula darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Nice uppercut lands for LaMotta. That snapped Kuhula's head back.
That has opened up Tonothan Kuhula's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, LaMotta creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Tonothan Kuhula's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
LaMotta lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kuhula backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake LaMotta dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
LaMotta sends Kuhula crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! LaMotta is motioning to the referee to let Kuhula up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kuhula misses the shot to the body.
LaMotta lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kuhula at a distance.
LaMotta cracks Kuhula with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kuhula looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can LaMotta finish him?
Kuhula is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaMotta instigates a clinch.

Kuhula has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
LaMotta drops Kuhula onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kuhula is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Kuhula has had enough of the clinch but LaMotta keeps him there for the moment.
LaMotta digs a right hand into Kuhula's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kuhula's gas tank.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tonothan Kuhula's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jake LaMotta!
After the fight, Jake LaMotta was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
