Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hennig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hennig is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Our Lady Peace - Whatever. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Poole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Hennig!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hennig tries for a takedown but Poole circles away easily
and Poole counters with a right hand to the body.
Hennig misses with a takedown
and Poole makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Poole misses with an uppercut. Hennig saw that one coming.
Hennig tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Poole darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Poole counters with a stiff right hand.
Will Poole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Hennig.
Hennig has his takedown stuffed
and Poole counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poole lands a head shot.
Poole bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hennig's head backwards.
Poole bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Poole connects with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poole cracks a nice hook into Hennig's ribs.
Hennig shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poole as he avoids it easily.
Poole tests Hennig's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hennig doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Poole rattles Hennig with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Hennig tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Poole dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Hennig stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Will Poole!
A relieved looking Will Poole thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
