Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daemon Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daemon Core has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall blocks a head kick by Core.

Core fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Randall, pushing him back against the cage.

Core breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Core shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Randall is trying to defend but Core finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Randall is not content to let Core control the position.
Core landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Core content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Randall is trying to control but can't.

Core is trying to control. Randall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Randall trying to hold on to Core's head to control him but Core postures up.

Core is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Randall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Core is trying to work for a kimura but Randall is defending well.
Randall tries to roll over but Core keeps him under control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Core moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Randall.
Core staying calm.
Core wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randall keeps working.
Randall really is a fat lump.
Randall is looking for a sweep.

Randall gets back to half guard.
Core controlling the action here.
Core is stalling here. Randall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Core seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Randall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Randall goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Core has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Randall but great work by Core.
Core is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Randall will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Core wants to stand but Randall has his arm trapped.
Randall tries to bench press Core off him but Core keeps the position.
Randall is holding Core down, trying to stall.
Core is putting a hurting on Randall here, landing some big shots from side control.

Core wants to control but Randall is keeping him busy.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Core tries to stand but Randall is controlling his head.
Randall is trying to control Core's posture but Core avoids it.

Core tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Core decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Core throws a punch but it's blocked by Randall.
Randall wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Core successfully pulls guard.
Core has his hands on Randall's head, controlling the position.
Randall tries to stand but Core is controlling from the bottom.
Core is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Randall trying to get back to full guard but Core takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Core has hold of Randall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Randall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Randall breaks Core's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Daemon Core showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Core drives through with a takedown into Randall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Core wants to control from the top but Randall keeps moving.
Randall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Core keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Randall's head.
Core is stalling in the full guard.
Daemon Core has got the better of the ground game so far.
Core trying to control the position from guard on top but Randall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Core is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Core is pushing down on Randall's leg trying to pass to half guard. Randall is fighting to maintain full guard but Core has managed to sneak the leg through.
Core not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Still in half guard, Core seems content to control.
Randall tries to get to full guard but Core has control of the leg.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Randall tries to keep at a distance but Core has taken the fight into the clinch.

Core turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Core manages to end up in side control.

Core wants to stand but Randall is controlling his arm.

Core in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Randall is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
