Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lacy Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lacy Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gregor Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Musashi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Doyle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Musashi is working away from the top position though.
Doyle moves into full guard.
Musashi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Doyle controls Musashi momentarily but Musashi frees himself.
Musashi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doyle lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Doyle postures up in Musashi's guard and throws a big left but Musashi blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doyle throwing strikes from guard but Musashi blocks nicely.

Doyle gets to his feet. Musashi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Musashi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doyle circles away quickly and effectively.
Musashi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Doyle is out of range and Musashi settles back down.
Doyle is looking to counter the offense by Musashi and move into the clinch.
Doyle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Doyle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Musashi as he jumps to the side.
Musashi throws a lazy right hand but Doyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice body punch from Musashi.

Musashi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Musashi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Doyle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Musashi.
Musashi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Musashi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doyle circles away quickly and effectively.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lacy Doyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Musashi lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doyle fails with a takedown attempt.
Doyle is breathing heavily.

Musashi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Doyle preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Musashi not doing much here.
Doyle wants to control but Musashi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Musashi controlling the action here.
It looks like Musashi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doyle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Doyle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Doyle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Musashi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doyle works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Musashi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Doyle's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Musashi misses with a double jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Musashi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Musashi moves into the clinch.

Musashi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gregor Musashi dominated that round.
That's time! Doyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Musashi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Doyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice straight punches there by Musashi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Musashi.
Doyle closes the distance and clinches up with Musashi, looking for a takedown. Doyle pushes Musashi against the cage but Musashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Musashi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Doyle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Musashi counters with a lovely straight right hand!


Doyle is rocked!
Musashi throws an overhand right that has Doyle reeling! Musashi follows up with more punches and Doyle is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gregor Musashi!
