Hoover comes to the ring accompanied by Godsmack - I Stand Alone. Shepherd has chosen Alter Bridge - Addicted to pain as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd needs to keep his hands up - Hoover had a free shot at his head there.
Hoover throws a series of punches but Shepherd avoids them all with ease.
Shepherd tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Donk. Hoover catches Shepherd right on the button with a cross.

Shepherd is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hoover has cracked Shepherd with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hoover lands another huge swinging hook and Shepherd tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Shepherd, before Hoover can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dominic Hoover!
Dominic Hoover bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
The defeated Rufus Shepherd had this to say: 'Unfortunately i lost but i will train a lot to win next fight for myself and you- my fans'.
