The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws the left hand but Laranja avoids the punch easily.
Laranja feinted with a counter takedown.

Laranja shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Drake manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Laranja trying to control but Drake is working from the bottom.
Drake looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Laranja seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laranja has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Drake is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Laranja rolls with it to try and escape but Drake cranks on the arm and Laranja is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
