The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuji ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Mutombo looks to land a combination but Fuji avoids it well.
Mutombo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mutombo lands a nice hook to Fuji's body. Fuji takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mutombo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A nice side step and Fuji releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Mutombo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fuji lands a big uppercut and Mutombo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mutombo looks OK. Fuji waves Mutombo back to his feet!

Fuji ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fuji looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Oh Mutombo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mutombo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fuji throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mutombo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fighters circling - Mutombo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fuji uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mutombo.
Fuji now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Fuji closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mutombo! Fuji dives in looking to finish! Mutombo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
