And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jere Stephens!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephens tries for a takedown but Juan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stephens.
Stephens scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Juan thumps Stephens with a low kick.
Jere Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Juan scores with a nice right hand.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Juan.
Juan avoids the body shot from Stephens.
Juan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Juan scores with a jab. Stephens acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Stephens steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Juan. That one must have hurt.
Stephens looks winded!
Juan is looking to slow Stephens down with leg kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Juan connects with a leg kick. Stephens looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Juan cracks Stephens on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Stephens falls backwards against the cage. Juan follows up with more strikes that drop Stephens to his knees. Juan keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Stephens! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Juan!
