Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Crillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crillo has chosen Solonen & Kosola - Kolmetoista kertaa kovempi ku kukaan as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jacob Koch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacob Koch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Crillo!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crillo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koch circles away.

Crillo drives through with a takedown into Koch's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Crillo is fighting to break Koch's control of his arms but Koch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Koch rushes Crillo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Koch's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Koch will probably get the nod.

Koch stuffs the takedown attempt from Crillo. Crillo gets slowly back to his feet.
Koch looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koch.
Crillo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Crillo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Koch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crillo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crillo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Koch appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Koch will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Crillo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

A nice inside leg kick there by Koch. That's going to slow Crillo down.
Horrible takedown attempt by Crillo or perhaps it was just good defense by Koch, which made it look bad.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Koch fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Koch wants to control but Crillo is keeping busy.
Koch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Koch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crillo is working away from the top position though.

Crillo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Koch doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Crillo.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Crillo lands a nice short elbow.
Crillo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Koch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Crillo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Koch defends it well.

Crillo scores with a big shot! Koch's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Koch! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Our winner, Frank Crillo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
