The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw misses with a head kick.
Shaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shaw fails to land with a series of punches.
Sims lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Sims shoots in and drives through. Shaw sprawls well.

Shaw drops Sims with a beautiful combination! Sims stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shaw is looking for the KO!

It looks like Noe Sims has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shaw batters Sims with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sims is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Shaw lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sims to the mat with a gruesome thud! Shaw is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
