Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Diaz's half guard.

Diaz tries to improve his position but Rogers has taken his back! Rogers has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Diaz tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Rogers pushes Diaz away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sam Rogers!
Sam Rogers decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
