Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauricio Mua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hare misses with the combination.
Hare backing away here, and Mua unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
A swing and a miss from Hare.
Mua fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hare lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Mua stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hare.

Mua moves in looking to clinch but Hare pushes him off.
Hare jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Hare appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mua tries to land a knee to the head but Hare blocks with his arms.

Hare throws a nice looking combination but Mua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mua tries to close the distance and clinch but Hare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oooooh!!! Hare has knocked Mua down with a huge combo! Hare steps away and waves a wobbly Mua back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Mua is rocked!
It looks like Rauricio Mua has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mua looks winded!
Hare throws a head kick but Mua moves out of range.
Mua clinches.

Hare blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hare is looking to break free of the clinch but Mua has double underhooks.
Hare wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Hare's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hare thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mua if he has to take too many more of those.

Hare throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Mua's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hare dives in looking to finish as Mua flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hare's strikes! Hare is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Mua's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Mua was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
