PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beach Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen La La La as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Diaz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bum eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Beach Bum will probably get the nod.

Bum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diaz is just riding it out for now. Bum eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Dick Diaz.
