PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Belle Sebastian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Tripp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tripp has chosen House of the Rising Sun by The Animals as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That kick from Sebastian tenderised Tripp's leg. Tripp is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tripp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It seemed like Tripp was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Tripp counters with a stiff right hand.
Tripp takes a swing at Sebastian's ribcage but misses.

A bone on bone clash there as Tripp blocks the leg kick.
A nice side step and Tripp releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Sebastian wants to slow Tripp down by chopping away at his legs.
Sebastian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tripp tries to avoid it but Sebastian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tripp to the ground. Tripp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sebastian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tripp connects with a nice looking jab.
Sebastian darts in looking for a takedown but Tripp gets double underhooks and turns Sebastian into the cage.

Sebastian on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sebastian tries to get out of the position.

Sebastian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tripp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tripp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tripp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sebastian keeps working.
