The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy misses with a looping left.
Meridius avoids the head kick by Pinksy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pinksy.
Meridius throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Meridius takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Meridius misses with a hook. Pinksy ducked under it nicely.
Meridius moves forwards but Pinksy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pinksy fails to land with a series of punches.
Pinksy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Meridius throws a lazy head kick
and Pinksy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Meridius misses with a hook.
Meridius looks to land a left hand but Pinksy moved out of range nicely.

Meridius tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pinksy is able to avoid easily.
Meridius on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pinksy tries to bum rush Meridius with a series of wild strikes but Meridius uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pinksy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Meridius misses with an uppercut. Pinksy saw that one coming.
Meridius takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Meridius misses with a wild combination.
Pinksy takes a swing at Meridius's ribcage but misses.

Pinksy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pinksy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Meridius on the side of the head.
Pinksy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pinksy misses with a double jab.
Meridius tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Drew Pinksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinksy missing with a left hand there. Meridius was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Meridius has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pinksy. Meridius does a little dance to reset his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Meridius.

Meridius throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pinksy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pinksy lands a nice shot that snaps Meridius's head back.
Meridius is rocked!
Pinksy throws a powerful right kick. Meridius tried to block low but the kick was high! Meridius was taken right off of his feet! Pinksy jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
