Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oko Poli!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Officer tries to avoid it but Poli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Officer to the ground. Officer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Poli has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Poli takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Officer lands with an uppercut that bounces Poli off the cage and back into range.
Officer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Poli dives in for a single leg takedown but Officer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Good exchange - Officer coming out on top.
Officer lands a jab to the nose.

Officer gets caught flat footed, as Poli shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Officer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Officer is looking to improve his position.

Poli is looking for a kimura but Officer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Poli to get the leverage.

Officer looking for subs from the bottom but Poli mounts him!

Officer can't escape the position.

Poli is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Officer is surviving well by controlling Poli's body position as best he can.
Officer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Officer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Officer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Poli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Officer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Officer tries to free his leg and advance position but Poli is retaining full guard.

Officer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Officer has managed to get both his arms back between Poli's legs - danger averted.
Officer wants to pass the guard but Poli is keeping the position.

Poli is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
