Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Max Paine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Paine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paine lands a jab-cross combination.
Paine misses with a takedown attempt - Flowers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Paine lands with a shot to the body.
Flowers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Flowers has eaten all the pies!

Paine instigates a clinch.
Paine is trying to break the clinch but Flowers has him pressed against the cage.
Paine jumps guard but Flowers stands there with Paine around his waist. Paine gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Flowers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Flowers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flowers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Paine's guard.

Flowers looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Paine wants to get back to his feet but Flowers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Paine is looking to sweep but instead, Flowers has passed into half guard.
Paine looks like he's trying to stand up.
Flowers is taking a breather. Paine says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Paine is refusing to be controlled, as Flowers sits in half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Flowers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paine's head.
Paine trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Flowers jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Paine manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Paine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Flowers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Flowers trying to control the position but Paine is working away.

Paine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flowers on the ground.
Paine can't do much from the bottom here.
Paine tries to bench press Flowers off him but Flowers keeps the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flowers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Paine is looking to escape.
Paine is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Paine reaches up to try and control the position but Flowers seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Paine rolls and tries to escape and now Flowers has his back!

Flowers has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Paine! Can he survive? No! He's out! Flowers gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
